Francis "Frank" Suzuki

April 29, 1939 - January 24, 2025

Sacramento, California - Francis "Frank" Suzuki passed away on January 24, 2025 at Sutter Health Medical Center at the age of 85. He was born in Ewa, Territory of Hawaii to Isami and Chiyoko Suzuki on April 29, 1939. He was the eldest of five siblings, Roy (Amy), Walter (Joanna), Kenneth, Max (Harriet) and Susan. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve. After completing his education at the University of Colorado, he was employed at Aerojet Gen Corp, for 38 years until his retirement in 2000. Frank leaves behind his wife Evelyn and a son Gregory, in-laws Virginia Muraoka, Lillie Rogers, Kay Yomogida and Tule Yomogida, numerous nieces and nephews and many family members who live in Hawaii. For 10 years, he coached little league and soccer in the Pocket area. He had many hobbies, a collection of coins, stamps, matchbook covers and found time for bowling. Later, he joined the Sakura Senior Golf Club being the tournament chairman for over 10 years. In his spare time, he grew and cared for professionally grown chrysanthemums and took care of and raised koi fish for many years. A private Memorial Service was previously held. In lieu of koden, please consider a donation to the Buddhist Church of Sacramento or an organization of your choice.
