This was a small clip I found of my Dad at bat. It was around March of 2015.

We met Frank at an MSBL tournament in Arizona many years ago. He was a very good ball player and an even nicer person. Always friendly and helpful. Most of all he was a gentleman - deepest condolences to the family. My husband and I will never forget him.

Hi there Dad. I am grateful for all of the wonderful memories I have of you. Some of my favorites are you playing your ukelele and singing to me, playing oldies on the 8 track, when we made our own skits, frisbee golf, magic shows, Christmas shows at memorial auditorium, bringing my family to visit and trips to the buffet to name a few. You are now with family and on a new adventure. Love you lots.

Grandpa, from opening Christmas presents with you, to playing baseball in the backyard. You were one quick son of a gun, I remember when we were in front of a restaurant and somehow it turned into a race between you, me and Topher. You were in your 60s and you whooped me! Obviously those championship rings didn't win themselves. I'll make it a goal this year to visit your birthplace. Love you.

Dad, I enjoyed the time we had after I retired in 2009 and watching you play ball just as I did growing up. I am going to miss our visits and talks about your new ideas and your baseball stories. I know your with family now, and I'm sure your looking for a ballgame somewhere. Hopefully they have Pepsi and sunflower seeds for you.
I look forward to my trip back to the USA for your celebration of life. I love you Dad- miss you

Dad, I know we did not get to spend as much time together, but I will miss the time we did have. I have heard so many stories about you from Bob, You were always so polite and treated me as your own daughter. I will miss you Dad. Rest In Peace. I love you.

So sad losing my long time friend, Frankie Devol. I remember playing in a church softball league against each other when we were teenagers. It was almost impossible to hold him to a single...he was so fast, that any base hit was a sure double. He was a teammate on our first SMSBL baseball team (Yankees) in 1984, besides being a key for our Sacramento teams winning several world series titles, he was the MVP of the first 50+ demo game played at the MSBL world series. That game led to age groups 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 73+, and 75+ age groups still playing world series baseball. Frankie was a great player and a great guy! We will miss him!

I was sadden to read of Frankie's passing. I have known him since he was a small boy living with his parents near Fremont school. We have played baseball together for years, and in my opinion he was one of the finest ball players to come out of Sacramento. My condolences to his family and I look forward to a celebration of his life at a later date.
