Frank Rienti Obituary
June 7, 1953 - May 26, 2022
Citrus Heights, California - Frank D Rienti, Jr. lost his courageous battle with cancer on May 26, 2022, at the age of 68. He was born on June 7, 1953, at Mercy Hospital in Sacramento to Frank and Roseline Rienti. He graduated from Mira Loma High School in the Class of 1971. As a young boy, he started his career path on a bicycle delivering the Sacramento Bee. He ventured on to McClellan AFB in 1978, beginning his career in Defense Logistics and became a union activist. He was elected in 2003 as National Council President AFGE C-169 and retired in October,2022.
Frank was a gentle soul who will be remembered for his generous spirit, sense of humor, and dedication to his family. He loved the San Francisco 49ers, bowling, trips to Reno, horse racing, cioppino dinners, and especially Elvis.
He will be missed immensely by the love of his life of 47 years, Glenda; son Christopher Rienti; daughter Angela Rienti; grandsons Joshua and Dylan Rienti; sister Cheryl (Jack) Hoffman; brother-in-law Ron Harris; nieces Tami Lucas, Tiffany (Matt) Hardcastle, Kimberly Hoffman; and numerous relatives and friends. He will remain in our thoughts and hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life is planned for this summer. In lieu of flowers please consider giving to the American Cancer Society or Autism Speaks

Many memories Frankie "singing in the rain" in one of our talent shows; allowing me to rename him "Dean" as we played house; our political connectedness as adults and always his HUMOR! Our West Way gang is broken and we are incredibly sad.
