Dear Paula, Fred, Lia, & Simone,
Just recently I learned that Dr. Baldi had passed away. My sympathy for your loss. I dearly loved working for and with him and Dr. Marra at the surgery center and at Sutter General. It seems like only yesterday but it started 40 years ago. Dr. Baldi was a gentleman. I always had and still have the greatest respect for him as a person and physician. And one of my fondest memories was meeting him on the American River Bike Trail and riding to Hazel Ave. with him. We had a nice chat - just two friends enjoying a great time. I do believe he slowed his pace for me.

Hello Fred, Lia & Simone - Your father rode with us on the TransAmerica Bicycle Trek. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We were looking for him for a reunion ride weekend planned for July 2012. If you would like to ride in his place in his memory, we'd be honored to have you along. -Jeff Balogh #92 http://www.facebook.com/jeffrey.balogh

Hello Fred,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. I remember meeting your father as a teenager when coming over to your house on occasion, and always remember him as a very engaging and friendly man. I was impressed that the both of you would ride those amazing rides, but I never realized that you we the impetus for them. I seem to recall a Raliegh tandom hanging in your garage that you two would ride centurys on? I didn't realize what an accomplished physician he was in Sacramento, and influence in the medical community. You must be very proud.
I'm a cyclist myself these days, and often think of the day we rode 26 miles to Sac State and back, thinking I had completed the tour de france. In that I think of your father and how your two rode together. so he does live on in my heart.
If ever you want to come ride on the Central Coast of California, I would give you a grand tour, and I would love to see you again. My email is [email protected]. My cell# is 805-712-5618.
All my sympathy,
Kelly Clark
