Gazy Jalilie Obituary

JALILIE, Gazy
Passed away Feb. 9, 2006, at the age of 65, peacefully in his home in Sacramento, CA. He was born Oct. 13, 1940, in Rio Nuevo, Colombia. He is survived by his loving wife Norma, daughters Betty, Lelsy, and Xiomara, and son Christopher, eight grandchildren, his brothers & sisters and a large loving extended family. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, at 10:00 AM at St. Philomene Catholic Church, 2428 Bell St., Sacramento, CA. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave., Sacramento, CA. There will be a viewing on Sunday, Feb. 12, from 1:00-3:00 PM with a Rosary at 3:00 PM at the NICOLETTI, CULJIS & HERBERGER FUNERAL HOME, 5401 Folsom Blvd Sacramento, CA. He will be missed.

Today is always a hard day for me, Even though I know your in a better place it still hurts not being able to see you the way I want or talk to you the way I want to. I miss you dearly dad. This past yr I had lows, highs and lows again. I wish I could have just hugged you & talked to you and get your advice. I'm trying to make changes for the better. But I have the best sister in the world & we are there for each other as you are too. You are always by our side & hearts. I love you & miss you always dad until I see you again. I try not to be sad but its hard because it hurts.

Thank you for always remembering my me during my birthday and holidays. You would call Xiomara at work and I would answer the phone at times, and we would talk like we knew each other for years. You always sent me cards for my birthday and for the holidays and never missed one. I remember the first I saw you when you came home I thought it would be wierd to have talked to you on the phone all those years but never had a face to put with the voice. But of course it was not weird at all we sat and we all talked like years had never passed. You will always be remembered as my 7-11 dad who would call and check up on me and Xiomara to see how things were going. You will be missed
