Gene Gearou Obituary

GEAROU, Gene
Born in Minneapolis on May 3, 1927, Gene passed away peacefully on July 28, 2007. Loving husband for 56 years to Gloria, loving father to Gigi (Ron) MacLeod, Tracie (Paul) Ramsey, Todd and Kent, and adoring grandfather to Justin, Canela, Nicole and Pam. A 32-year resident of Carmichael, he will be remembered by all for his incredible sense of humor and his solo voice. He was a member of SIRS, a WWII veteran, chef, square dancer, world traveler, comedian and "magician," and will be deeply missed by his countless friends and relatives. A celebration with music will be held Tuesday, August 7, at 11:00 AM at Lutheran Church of the Ascension in Citrus Heights. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Mercy Foundation (MSJ Oncology Department) or Lutheran Church of the Ascension.
