George was a wonderful man who truly had a passion for the sport of drag racing. I knew him long ago through his friend and my former boss/mentor Jim Herbert and his friend Gary Ormsby who was also a friend and partner of George's in the sport. George was always kind, pleasant, helpful and treated me with respect when I encountered him when he visited Jim's Speed Shop where I worked. Our most heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Georges friends and family-The sport of Drag Racing and our community has lost a good man and fine gentlemen~God Bless. :)
