Geraldine ORTIZ Obituary
ORTIZ, Geraldine ''Gerrie''
Passed peacefully on November 13, 2009 after a difficult fight with cancer. She was 61. Born Geraldine Stella Martinez on March 15, 1948 in San Andreas, CA, she was a life-long resident of this state, finally settling in Citrus Heights. She was a person whose generous heart and actions made her a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She impressed an indelible mark on the family she leaves behind. She is survived by her husband and true love of 43 years, Richard Jose Ortiz and her two grown daughters, Domenica and Nicole. Grandmother to Michael, Jared, Aniecia, Amaya and Ira. Her surviving siblings, Ronald, Gloria, Tony and Sandy, will miss her greatly. She joins her beloved, late grandmother Louisa, mother Noverta, and sister Francis in heaven. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 24th at 7:00 PM at Immaculate Conception, 3263 1st Avenue in Sacramento.

Hope to see you in heaven someday Gerry. We have alot of catching up to do! I will never forget what a wonderful girl you were! The few short years that we were friends were the happiest years of my life. I have thought of you and Richard often through the years and had always hoped we would meet again one day.
