Grace Holt Obituary
March 18, 1946 - March 24, 2025
Sacramento, California - Grace was born in Prague, Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1968. She joined the Peace Corps in Korea in1972 and lived there until 1976. Grace worked in Sacramento at the California Department of Education for eleven years before retiring in 2006. She explored the world, visiting over 50 countries. She was fond of Asia, especially Korea, where she resided for five years and frequently visited. Upon retirement, she took up the piano and enjoyed accompanying herself singing her favorite tunes.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Grace was a teaching colleague of my late mother at Washington Unified and my supervisor in SCUSD's English as a Second Language Program. Grace was a wonderful mentor who helped me successfully apply to join the Peace Corps.
