Grace McDonald Obituary

McDONALD, Grace W.
(Hodapp)
Passed away peacefully at age 91 in Fair Oaks, Calif. She was a native of Glenn County, Calif., and was raised on the "Hodapp" ranch. Predeceased by her loving husband and best friend Joseph, Lt. Col., USAF, she is survived by her daughter Gracie M. Ryan-Rush (Kary), son Charles, sister Dorothy Nelson, brother-in-law Harold Nahler, stepson Steve, and cherished granddaughter Shannon Ryan. Grace spent many wonderful years as an Air Force wife, had a later career in both real estate and medical transcription. She was a wonderful grandmother to Shannon. She was a lover of the outdoors, as well as art and book collecting. She was a docent at the Crocker Art Gallery. She loved her family and was very proud of her son Charles, a Viet Nam war veteran. She will be reunited with her husband at the San Francisco National Cemetery at the Presidio. At her request, no services will be held. Special thanks to her caregivers at Sunrise Assisted Living and Vitas Hospice. She will live in our memories forever.
