There is never a time when I don´t think about Greg teaching me planning and design he learned in college and I didn´t at UCD. We just opened a box of Sprink documents I worked on. This brings back memories. So glad Tim and I touched base on Facebook. We miss you, Greg and Eric and Lincoln, our planning group at Spink.

My sincere and deepest condolences to the family. I worked with Greg at The Spink Corporation in the late 1970's til 1981 when my daughter was born. Greg taught me so much about designing subdivisions. I also wrote environmental impact reports, which I also learned on the job. Greg and I used to talk a lot during breaks, after work. Such a dedicated individual. Our planning dept. was so talented. Jack, Dave, Dave, Lincoln, Paul, Don, Eric (Greg's best friend). I remember just going in to see if I could interview and was hired on the spot! I took off running with a road project in Hayward. I just wish we hadn't lost contact. That baby I was pregnant with at work is now 33 years old with two children. May you rest in peace, Greg. Thank you for your sincerity, patience, guidance, talent and honesty.

Sally,
I am so very sorry for your loss. We never really knew each other except to say a quick hello. I didn't hear about Greg's services which have already passed until today.
As you know I was married to Greg just briefly but I'm glad that the two of you were able to find a loving and lasting marriage. He always seemed very happy.
Greg and I had our differences but I have comfort in knowing the last couple of years I saw him things were always smooth and ended on a good note.
I know this is so difficult for you. I wish you the best and well.

Dear Sally and family, my prayers are with you. My heart is saddened to find out that Greg was sick and for your loss. After Greg left TLA we were in contact periodically, I wish it had been more consistent. Greg was a special gem. God bless you.

Greg was a highly skilled land use planner capable of taking a blank sheet of paper and crafting by hand an entire community from scratch. It was and is pure artwork. Many people in northern California live in those same communities today. You have Greg's true handiwork to thank. I had the pleasure of sharing many workplace lunches with Greg wherein we'd laugh about a shared mutual friend or two, his fine shoe collection, his hyper-fastidious car care, or denim jean ironing (only Greg could iron such a fine crease in a pair of jeans). Greg loved his Sally, his work, and his friends and family - also among the many things we'd discuss over so many lunches at Fats Asia Bistro.
Sally and family - you have my deepest sympathy.
Greg - I'll see you on the other side for a vodka-cran.
