Gregory Nicholas MURPHY

MURPHY, Gregory Nicholas Gregory Nicholas Murphy, age 42, was born on February 17, 1972 in Upland, CA to Norbert and M. Jean Murphy. Greg passed away fulfilling his calling by organizing and participating in Tiny Smiles 5k & Half Marathon event. Greg graduated Damien High School and Cal Poly SLO. He worked as a CAL FIRE firefighter paramedic in Riverside, CA for many years, as well as for Riverside AMR, as a paramedic. Greg is survived by his wife Kathy, daughters Courtney, Lexi, Brittany and Alex; brother Brian and wife Dawn, niece Kirsten and nephew Kaleb, father Norbert, his mother, Jean Murphy, precedes Greg in death. A Rosary will be held February 16 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Upland, CA. A funeral Mass will be said on February 17, 2015 at 10am at St Anthony's Catholic Church, Upland, Ca. Followed immediately by interment at Crestlawn Memorial Park 11500 Arlington Ave Riverside, Ca. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked offering be made to the following account for the his daughter education: US Bank in care of "Murphy Girls"
