Harold was a very big part of the motorcycle community in Sacramento after World War II. I went to high school at Christian Brothers and worked after school at the BF Goodrich Tire Shop across from his old shop. Harold and Elmer would tease me because I was a shy teenager want-a-by biker. Harold had a wonderful life with many good days and lots of friends. My mother told me that we were related to Harold. He was very good to me......

Harold, I"am glad you are at peace now. Having you for a mentor was more than a young racer could ask for. I will never forget you Harry. Rest in Peace. Johnny Puthuff

Very sad to learn of Harold's passing. He and his wife, Geneva, were great friends of my Dad, Keith Moore, and my Mom, Ginger. I remember wonderful visits to their home in Fair Oaks as a child. {{{HUGS}}} to Patty and Clifford and the family.

Harold, you will be in my memory for as long as I live. I bought my first two bikes from you and Elmer back in the early 50ts at your BSA shop. and shared breakfasts with you at the Oldfarts Wednesday gatherings for several years now. When I lost my wife almost three years back, knowing you had gone thru this many years prior, I ask you one Wednesday after breakfast while you were sitting in Reds truck...."Will the pain ever end" and with tears running down your face you said " No Ken it won't but it gets easier as time passes" Well my good friend you are finally at rest with your bride from years ago and rest in peace. I will think of you often about the way you shared your breakfast with your dog by saving biscuits, gravy and sausage to take home to your companion. God be with you my friend......Papa-Ken AKA Kenneth Kinder.
