Harry Crabb
July 6, 1933 - August 30, 2025
Roseville, California - Harry passed peacefully at his home on Aug. 30, 2025.
He was a native of Schyler Nebraska and moved to Roseville in 1936. Harry attended local schools including Atlantic Street School and Roseville High School. It was at Roseville High that he started dating, in his sophomore year, his wife of 65 years Jeanette Davis.
Harry and Jeanette moved to Virginia immediately after they got married as Harry served in the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Upon returning to California they moved to North Highlands to their first home. Roseville always being the place they wanted live, they built a new home on Vine Ave in December of 1960 and lived there and raised their two children Gerri and Mike.
In 1995 they moved to Sun City and lived until Jeanette's passing 2018.
Harry spent 38 years working for Cal Trans. He also spent many hours volunteering for Roseville Little League and Boy Scout Troop 11 where both he and Mike were Scouts.
Harry's true passion was his family. He was always there for his wife, children and grandchildren for whatever activity they were involved in.
Harry and Jeanette enjoyed traveling upon retirement. Kona Hawaii and Bodega Bay were favorites.
Harry's second passion was The City of Roseville. He spent over 30 years serving on the project review committee, planning commission and four terms as Mayor of Roseville. Even with the time he devoted to the city and his job he always was there for his family.
Harry was a sports fanatic. He played and excelled in football and basketball in high school. He also loved to play golf and duck hunting with friends. He also was a lifelong fan of University of Nebraska Cornhusker Football.
After Jeanette's passing Harry met and married Patricia Bell Orr in 2020. They enjoyed five years together.
Harry is survived by his wife Pat. Son Mike, Grandchildren Brad and Bryan White. Katie(Eric) Baker, Kevin(Paige)Crabb. Great Grandchildren Cole,Cody and Alena White, Rowdy and Kolt Baker and Camryn Crabb. Step Daughters Julia Rosenberg and Diane Rose.
Harry was proceeded in death by his wife of 65 years Jeanette, daughter Gerri, sister Marylou and brother Don and sister in law Jeanne Davis along with many other family and friends.
A Celebration of Harry's Life will be held Friday Oct.10th from 12 noon to 3 at Timber Creek Lodge, Sun City Roseville.
