I still miss you buddy. When I drive through East Sac or the mountains. When I hear bar dice. I can still hear your voice sometimes, and our laughter. It seems like yesterday.

I have loved Harry almost from the moment I met him. He was a bartender at Paragary's and I was a cocktail waitress in the late 80's. Virtually every moment I spent with him was happy. I have thought of him many times thoughout the years since we parted ways. Everytime I think of him I smile. I know that I will always have a place in my heart for this very special person.
He told the best stories and we would talk for hours. He made me laugh and he would make me think of things I had never thought of before. When I would be tense about something he would say, "work with me baby," and his words always comforted me. I cry as I write this. He was truely one of a kind!

To Jacqueline, Joe, and the Devine family:

Steve and I are tremendously saddened by your loss. Our hearts go out to you. We know first hand what it is like to lose a son and a brother. No words can express the grief. Harry always had a smile on his face whenever we saw him. He was a kind and gentle man. We are glad we knew him. May the Lord comfort you and strengthen you.

With deepest sympathy,
Steve & Loretta Sellers and family

I don’t have the words to describe how much Harry has meant to my life. He is at the center of so many of my most joyous, hilarious, silly, crazy and passionate memories. He taught me how to fish and play dice. He tried to teach me how to golf. He took me on one of his epic climbs into Desolation Valley. He made me laugh until my face hurt. He loved his family and his friends and they all loved him. I am sure I will never know another quite like him. This passage is how I will think of him:

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

I worked with Harry as a bartender at Paragary's in the early 1990's. The impression he made on me is a lasting one. He was one of the funniest, though dry people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I do believe I might have secretly fallen for him back then, and find myself deeply saddened at his passing.

Thank You so much Jimmy for being the best big brother ever! For rubbing my back when I had tummy trouble. For all the fun times when you'd come to me to ask Dad for stuff! Meeting Sonny and Cher in Chicago. The train trip. Carmel vacations and going to Secret Beach (which wasn't to secret) Squaw Valley with the Miller Family. And all the wonderful family vacations to Hawaii. You got so sunburned (before SPF's)one day out on your surfboard and you coated yourself in camomille and it caked and hardened. You had to go to the hospital. You were like a big lobster! I have nothing but kind words for you and such special memories. REST IN PEACE. and you will greatly missed XOXO Always Molly
