Heather Sanchez Obituary
August 27, 1982 - August 19, 2021
North Highlands, California - Heather Lynn Sanchez, age 38, entered eternal rest on August 19, 2021. Born in Carmichael, CA to John and Lorenda Sanchez on August 27, 1982, she is survived by: her mother; her grandmother Ramona; her sisters Jaynee, Kimberlea and Jacqueline; her brothers Joseph and John; and her dog Moochie. She was an enrolled tribal member with the Susanville Indian Rancheria (Paiute/Shoshone). She graduated class of 2000 from Mira Loma High School, and continued her education at D-Q Tribal University, American River Community College, and Sacramento State. She earned an AA in Gaming, a BS in Criminal Justice, and a master's certificate in Public Policy. For the past six years she worked for the California Department of Justice. Heather was interred at the Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City, NV on September 10, 2021. Her generosity, kindness and smile will be missed.
