Citrus Heights, California - Jack Duncan passed away peacefully in Citrus Heights on November 17, 2023. He was born May 28,1935 in Auburn, CA. Jack attended grammar school in Auburn and Orick, CA. He graduated from Arcata High School in 1953. He found his bride to be, Jean, in Arcata. Jack & Jean married October 14, 1954. They moved to Citrus Heights in 1958 with their two loving children Pamala and Mark. Jack's professional career was auto dismantling. He was co-owner of J&W Auto Wreckers with his wife, Jean, and son, Mark. President of the State of California Auto Dismantlers Association and Northern California Auto Dismantlers Association. Jack was very active in the Rotary Club of Citrus Heights for 39 years. Major donor to the Rotary Foundation and proud to be a Paul Harris Fellow. Jack was active in the Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce and instrumental in the incorporation of Citrus Heights. Jack is predeceased in death by Jean, his wife, survived by his daughter Pamala Groft (Dan), son Mark Duncan (Marie): grandchildren Samuel Groft, Sarah Groft Brooks (Nate), Neil (Lindsay), Savannah and Spencer Duncan: Great Grandchildren Samina Zoe~ Laguna, Cad Brooks and Huck DeWolf Duncan.
