Our family had the pleasure of knowing "Grandpa Jim" for many years. First, getting to know him at Green Oaks at pick up time, then regularly running into him at Denny's and out and about around Orangevale. We admired his cheerful, happy and positive attitude even as he faced health issues these last few years. We will always remember him fondly and will pray for the repose of his soul. May God bless him and welcome Jim to his Heavenly home. Love & prayers to the Faherty family - The Poveys, Dan, MaryAnne, Michael, Patrick, Peter, Lizzy & Josie

So sorry to hear of your loss or we must say our loss. Jim has left a legacy right here in all of his children and is walking in our footprint only half a step behind. Our condolences to the family. He will be sadly missed and we feel truly blessed to have shared a piece of life with him and his family. Ron & Charlotte Retzlaff

Jim Faherty personified all the best in mankind. By setting an example of how a loving parent should be, he raised his children to carry his spirit within them. When you surround yourself with his children, grandchildren and great grand children, you experience all the love that Jim passed on to each of them. He was a very special man who touched all of us in a remarkable way. He's now with Marina and is suffering no more. All who knew him will miss him. Love to all his family. Love, Dave Sutter and Honey Winter
