The family of Barbara & Milton Schwartz sends its condolences and affectionate good wishes to the family of Jim Flint, with whom we became acquainted in the 1960's through our mutual friendship with Liz & Emil Berger. Our parents enjoyed countless wonderful times, over a period of three or four decades, with that multi-family group. Our generation (Boomers) were beneficiaries of those warm and trusted relationships, as well. On behalf of the Schwartzes, I convey our sadness for your loss and our rich, respectful celebration of a truly good man and a life well lived. May we all be so blessed.

Love you tons, grandpa!
The best, sound advise and insight.
The weekend before I left for boot camp I had a lot of nerves and anxiety. Grandpa told me I’d survive just fine and he couldn’t wait to see me when I got back. On my return from training we discussed my duty stations. Having more knowledge of the military I was enthralled with all his military (Navy) stories, including how he went from enlisted to an officer (lots of respect, grandpa)! He suggested I learn more Spanish as he had. It has been a life-saver in my nursing career.
This man gave hugs galore! A man who’d bend down to your height for a hug at 5 years old or a hug at 35! Tall, handsome, calm, friendly, well-spoken, and loving!
Grandma Judi, love you so much.
Judy and Nancy, with deepest empathy, I’m so sorry for your loss.
