James Hesterwerth Obituary

James was born in McCook, Nebraska April 14, 1929. He passed away in Elk Grove, CA December 20, 2018. James proudly served in the US Navy. He worked for IBM for 30 years, retiring in 1987. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Gene; and sister, Marilyn; and his first wife, Chris. Survived by wife, Joyce; son, Robert; daughter, Melody; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Alice; and his furry friend, Duke. Celebration of Life Thursday, December 27 at 1pm. Reception to follow 2-4pm at St. Mary's Funeral Center, 6509 Fruitridge Rd., Sacramento. In lieu of flowers the family asks to make a donation in James' name to Loaves and Fishes, 1351 North C Street, Sacramento, CA 95811 or visit sacloaves.org/donate.php
