Still missing you Dad! I know you know you have a Great Grandson that looks and acts just like you. I pray he has many of your best and great qualities. I sometimes call him Dad! He knows you are Papa! He will know all about you. Love you always!

I met Jim when I started working at McClellan AFB in Sacramento. He was a good friend, and I still have memories of he and I, along with Gil Carter, and several others, on a field trip to Tucson in the eighties. My name is Charlie Cook, and he used to call me CC and water back. I will always cherish the time and memories of our times together with friends. I had moved east in the middle 90s, settling in Tallahassee in 2001. I was sad to learn that he was in Jacksonville, as I would have loved to see him again. I recently attended a funeral for a friend at the national cemetery in Jacksonville and found his grave. I will miss him as you all do for the wonderful man he was. Rest peacefully my friend!

There is so much to say as I reflect on my memories of uncle Pete. He was a true patriarch and family man. There was always a gleam in his eyes whenever he talked about his children and grands. He was man of great integrity and character. He was nonsense kind of guy, I will missed those words of wisdom and his endearing advice. He also had a great sense of humor and when him and mom got together forget it..the party is on
Rest in heavenly peace, dear uncle Pete.. no more pain.. sending PRAYERS of comfort for my cousins..

Words cannot describe the emptiness I feel inside. Pete was my protective cousin who was more like
a brother. We shared so many great memories growing up and in our adulthood- he was my confidant and partner in crime. I can hear him saying "Skip" was going on....He loved his children very much and love my children like his own. He was a non nonsense kind of guy. Will miss he deeply. Rest in paradise my dear cousin/big brother.

My heart is sad and heavy. I just spoke with Mr. Isley about a month ago. He called out of the blue and it was such a pleasure to hear his voice. I remember on Mather Air Force Base how much he loved to fish. So many wonderful memories with Mr. Isley and the Isley family. My condolences to the family. I am so sorry for your loss.
