Jane Pivetti Obituary

Jane A Pivetti, age 95, died peacefully on 8/23/25 after a very brief illness. She is survived by her daughter Catherine, three sons David, Joe, Gus, their spouses, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Her husband Chuck and son Philip predeceased her. Jane was born in the Philippines and spent her childhood living in a several different countries around the world. She completed her high school and college education in the US. Jane was enrolled as a first-year medical student when she married Chuck in 1950. Jane and Chuck made California their home, living in Carmichael for the last 50 of their 70-year marriage. Jane taught math at Will C Woods middle school for the entirety of her teaching career. Jane and Chuck loved to travel, traveling all over the world, usually by bicycle. When she wasn't traveling, Jane could be found participating in a bridge game somewhere, becoming a Silver Life Master. If she wasn't playing bridge, she was volunteering, reading, or participating in a book club. Even though she was always busy, Jane made time for many friends and each family member; making everyone feel special. She enjoyed an amazing, full and active life. Jane will be missed by so many. Memories of our time with her will be cherished. At her request, a private family memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donation be made to Loaves and Fishes Mustard Seed school in Sacramento.
