What can I say, words will never ever express the love I have for my brother Jesse. I have been so blessed to have a life that had him as a part of it. "J" you have shown me not to be scared of life and live it to the fullest, always. Jesse you've shown me no Dream is ever too Big to Dream or go out and get! I watched you grow from my "you doing to much" baby brother, to this amazing grown man. I will cherish all the adventures we had and you always saying "tell me a good story Lee Lee Pooh". Mom, Dad, Gina(Cat),and Andrea (Drea) thank you for allowing me to be a part of this family and sharing such a wonderful, beautiful, and most of all loving son and brother. I love you Jesse and I miss you sooo much. Your LeeLeePooh

Brother Jesse,
I Met Jesse in the 9th grade at Kennedy High school and we clicked every since. We both shared similar ambitions and outlooks on life where we had many extended conversations as years past.
My Bro. As we both eneterd man hood and lost some contact but still close in heart for when we seen each other it was like old times and I truly enjoyed that.
I miss you Jesse, God Bless.
My deepest sympathy to the family, my prayers and thoughts are with you.

Wow I don't even know what to say. I am very numb. I met Jesse when I was 14 years old during a summer program I was a intern at and he was a youth counselor. I have always known Jesse to be respectful, fun, outgoing, honest and just a cool laid back type of guy. When I became of age and I would always see him out at different functions he would always have something very encouraging to say about going to college pursuing my modeling etc. My heart goes out to the family. I was close friends with his niece Tiffany Lighter and I would like to say to her I am so sorry for your lost. With Gods strength and only through him you will all make it.

Well, I guess this isn't a dream...although I attended the funeral and saw you my beautiful Jesse it's still hard to comprehend that I will never hear your voice again..greeting me on the phone saying.."Hey Kitty Kat" what's happening Mama!!, starting off our very last conversation we had two days before I received the devastating call, in that conversation Jess you assured me that you were fine, you asked me about Sissy, Denzell and Taylor (your little cousins) like always and you said too me I love you mama. I said I love you too Jess, it's been to long you know I'm calling too check on you, and you said with a laugh I know baby, but you know how we do it we'll get together soon. I had no reason to believe that we would never talk again. You were my rock when I needed encouragement, my confidant when I needed to talk..we used to take long rides and talked about our hopes and dreams but mostly about Jesus and how much we loved him and needed to trust in him more because without him we are nothing. You will be truly missed and will remain in my heart till it beats no more. I will continue to pray for you like we promised we would do for one another I will pray for your mom, sisters' and other members of this family for comfort and healing. We love you very much sweetie...your extended family...Catt, Aubyrn, Denzell and Taylor...rest in peace honey...

My brother/Hey there bro,

I'm really gonna miss hearing your voice say "Hey Sis". No matter whenever we saw one another that was our greeting. Your love for family & all those you've touched will never be forgot. I take refuge in knowing that I will see you again in glory and that weeping endure for a night but JOY cometh in the morning. So until then rest in HIM (Our Lord & Savior) till we meet again.

A good friend Someone who cared for him

November 28, 2006

I remember the first time I met Jesse was at Cosumnes College. I would see him looking at me from across the room with that smile. He would always leave me pleasant notes in the classroom. One day he had the courage to approach me and when he did he gave me a ring. From that day on we were very good friends. I looked forward to goin to school so I could see his lovely smile. When I saw that smile I knew my world was going to be ok. Jesse was a man who had a lot of heart. He was someone who cared for others before himself. Amazing 14 years later and I still have that ring. Jesse will be missed and greatly loved by me.

My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends. Jesse was a wonderful person.

Dear Hollis, Windsor, Thomas Family:

Words cannot begin to express what my heart is feeling right now. Jesse was a very kind and sweet young man. I would run into him from time to time and he was alway courteous. His smile would just light up a room when he saw someone he knew from "back when". Lean not to your own understanding but always trust in the Lord for He will take care of you during this painful time. The Bradley Family loves you and will keep you lifted up in prayer!

I was deeply saddened when I heard of the news of Jesse's passing. I've known Jesse for the past 6 years or so, through his friend and business partner Ben. I've always admired his charm, love of life, and ambition. Our last conversation was about a month ago at a party where he was telling me about how he's turned his life to God and all the positive things he was working on. I was so happy for him, to see him look forward to this new change in his life.

Jesse will truly be missed...and I am sorry for the loss to his friends and family.

Jackson will always have a special place in my heart! Whenever I was down I could always count on seeing him to put a smile on my face and give me the words of comfort to restore my faith and trust in God. He was like a big brother to me and uncle to my son. I'm truly going to miss his jokes, raps, and most of all advice that has helped me build a stronger relationship with my family and God! May God bless you and hold you. Jesse is resting and no longer carries the weight of the world ! The storm is over now! Love, as JJ would say Anita aka "Anitra" and Kylan aka "Lil Man"!

Jesse,

What can I say that has not always been said, but to capsulize with big heart, genuine, full of fun and laughter, ambitious go-getter, a friend, loved.

I'll never forget our times modeling for Ms. Brenda, working out at the gym, befriending the ladies, the "hook-ups" at McDonald's, praying together, dreaming of life's greatest potential fulfilled. Hard to believe that just several months ago I ran into you at LAX and we had a chance to catch up on good ole times on the flight back to Sac. So hard to believe you've left. Your spirit will always hold a place in my heart. I know that God will embrace you with open arms. I'll see you in heaven.

To the family, my deepest condolences and wishes that you find comfort in clinging to what was good about the blessing of one Jesse L. Jackson.

Peace be with you.

To The Family of Jesse,
You have my deepest sympathy during this very difficult time.

My family and I were so hurt when we heard of Jesse's passing.

Jesse was someone special, To know him was to love him. We met Jesse many years ago and shortly after, he was part of our family.

He had a big heart and much love for the kids.

He was Uncle Jesse to all the kids in the family. He would show up to birthday parties and brighten up the room.

When Jesse Jackson showed up, his presence was felt.

When I saw him or spoke to him, it was always

"what's up Jesse Jackson"

He would give that big smile and show much love.

The name just said something and he was proud of it.

He will be dearly missed by us all.

Trust in God to see you through this difficult time, for the battle belongs to him. Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy comes in the morning. They that mourn shall be comforted.
