Joan Rich Obituary

RICH, Joan Margaret
Born Margaret Joan Corkery in Toronto, Canada, 11/17/20. Became Our Guiding Light Angel on 12/09/06. Joan will always remain, the Beloved Wife of Robert (Bob) Rich. Their life together spanned over 65 years and saw them through WWII, turbulent times when Bob was in Iran during the fall of the Shah, moving the family from MI, IL, OK, CA, AZ, NV and back to CA. She is the cherished Mother of Linda Rich and her husband Richard, Barbara Rich Colosimo and her husband Mark and Robert John Rich Jr. and his wife Kathy. She is the Nana of Kara and Kirsten Rich, and Natalie and Michael Colosimo. She is the light of the family and we will miss her smile, sense of humor, conversation on everything, especially movie stars, and readiness to help anyone and everyone when they needed her not just when it was convenient. She was beautiful inside and out. Joan never stopped and her energy could outlast people half her age. She will always be missed and loved and we will never let her grandchildren forget, although they already know, what a wonderful woman their Nana was throughout her life.

To the Rich and Colosimo Family,
The Lee Chamberlain family would like to send to you our sincere sympathy for the passing of Joan Rich. She was always so happy and she was always glad to see not only family but extended family members and friends. She had a sincere interest in what you had to say. She was a great story teller and I found her to be very interesting . She will be greatly missed.
