Dear Mr. and Mrs. Golly and Family,
I just was informed by John's friend, Tony, that he had passed away and I wanted to send you my love and prayers.
I knew John from an online friendship that lasted many years. His letters were a thing of beauty and encouragement to me. He was always filled with such love and despite miles between us, I felt a bond with your son, brother, uncle, friend, etc. He was one of the funniest and dearest people I've ever met, and even blessed me with a Rosary, which he had made with his own hands. I shall always keep it and remember the wonderful conversations we shared.
He always spoke so highly of his family, particularly you -- his mom and dad.
My life was truly enriched by knowing him, and I only hope I did the same for him, even half as much.
Shedding tears at the thought that he's no longer with us, but rejoicing that he's in heaven, no longer in pain, and that we will meet again someday.
May God bless you all, and thank you for the gift of your dear son, my friend, John.
In Christ's Love,
Cheri

Hey Little Brother,
Just wanted to leave you a Happy Birthday message. Although I'm not sure if they observe birthdays in Heaven or not. You are missed so much, it is unbelievable.

I went to school with John at Parker Whitney in Rocklin. John was always making us laugh, he was very sweet. I have often thought of John through the years. I just found out about his passing. My sincerest condolences to John's family. I hope you find peace in this sad time, and that your love for John will sustain you.

Michelle,
My deepest condolences to you and your family. There are no right words to express how you feel, but know that you have friends that are here anytime you need us. You were there for me when I needed a friend the most and I will never forget that. John has moved on to a much better place and you will see him again someday.
