John Keene Obituary
February 19, 1960 - August 16, 2023
Fair Oaks, California - Passed away on Wednesday, August 16 at the age of 63. At the time, John was working temporarily in Nashville, Tennessee as an Environmental Specialist for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). John was born in San Carlos, CA on February 19, 1960. He is survived by wife Maureen; daughters Shannon, Courtney, Raquel and Megan; and sisters' Karen (Ron) and April (Eric). He was preceded in death by his father Howard and mother Shirley. John also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins who held a special place in his heart.
John graduated from Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks, CA and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from UC Santa Barbara. He started his career in the land use permitting process at the Governor's Office of Planning and Research, followed by a transition to the private sector as an environmental consultant for many years.
John enjoyed spending time and joking around with his family and friends, reminiscing about the good old days, reading and watching old movies and TV shows…especially scary ones. He was a loving father, husband, brother and fur baby dad who will be sorely missed by all.

I´m just learning of this sad news from the BVHS Memorial page. I knew John when he was a teenager. He had a wonderful sense of humor (he got from his father) and a kind heart (he got from his mother). My condolences to his sisters, his wife and his children. RIP Big John.

John - It is with much sorrow and heartache that I'm writing this. Our friendship goes way back with countless fond memories made along the way. I already miss that dry sense of humor of yours and miss being able to give it right back to you. R.I.P my good friend.

John, I was shocked when I heard the news. Such a great man. Such a great father to your girls and a wonderful loving husband to Maureen. You were a kind, gentle man with a huge heart. I will cherish the times I got to spend with you and the family. May god bless you and continued prayers to all your family and friends during this difficult time. Rest easy big man. See you again one day.
