Johnson Tan Obituary

TAN M.D., Johnson Y.
Born Sept. 18, 1928, in Fujian, China. Reared in the Philippines, he graduated from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, with an M.D. degree. He came to the U.S. for his internship and residency training in NY State and eventually located in CA. His practice was established in Sacramento County, and he devoted 34 years to General Surgery and Family Practice. He was dedicated to his family and to serving humanity. Entered into rest on January 7, 2005. Survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Eleanor. Beloved father of Stephen, Patricia, Katherine, Jacqueline, Cynthia and Teresa and grandfather of Janelle, Christine, Michelle, Linsay, Robert, Erica, Briana, and Lucas, whom he adored. Inurnment at East Lawn, 5757 Greenback Ln, Sacto. Remembrances may be made to Mercy Hospice, 3400 Data Dr., Rancho Cordova, CA 95670.
