Ingo and I spoke earlier today, he sent me the link to visit Kathy's Memorial page. Thank you for sharing. Heartwarming, a great period piece of a genuine woman's life. I met Kathy professionally when I sold her house in Cambrian (San Jose) in the early 1980's, and again when she and Ingo moved north. He had a wonderful wife, I had a big sister. Wise beyond her years, she looked out for everyone she knew. Grace ahead of her time, She will be missed, and remembered.

I worked with Miss Katherine back in the day at West Sacramento Safeway. I'll always remember her first day on the job,she had the biggest smile and a contagious laugh! My nickname for her was The Goddess! Rest in peace.

The wonderful photo gallery tells it all. Such a beautiful smile Kathy always seemed to have and you can see that she lived a happy life. It was so great that she was able to go to Maui last summer with the family. Such fantastic memories. Rest in peace.

Kathy was the bright spot in our neighborhood....always fun and smiling. She bravely took on her cancer fight, with Ingol and her family supporting her every step of the way. It is difficult to accept our bright, shining star of the neighborhood has left to shine in the heavens. My condolences to Ingol and her beautiful family. Kathy, we will all miss your sunshine.

I'm sorry to hear of Katherine's passing. She was my deli manager at Safeway in West Sacramento, CA 25 years ago. She was always so full of life. I remember a lot about her but, one thing that stands out above all is how much she loved her kids.
When I see the picture of her, yep that's her smile!! And it makes me smile.

The fact that you're not here with us anymore hasn't fully sunken in yet. But I know when it does, I'll just think about all the good memories and how happy you must be now that you're not in pain anymore. We're all going to miss you so much, but we'll see you again! Love you Auntie Kathy ♡

I remember the first time I saw my beautiful Auntie Kathy at the little league field. Our families became very close friends, more like family. I will always love her and remember her awesome laugh and smile. I know my Auntie Kathy and my Mom are together somewhere, laughing and smiling down upon us all. I love you Auntie.

My deepest sympathy to Ingo, Sherrie, Reuben, Joey, John, Carol, Audrey and Quinn, you all are in my thoughts and prayers, I wish you all peace.

love, Donna xox
