Dear Joan and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. I will always remember him fondly. He was so dedicated to his family and his business and shared of himself unselfishly. Thanks for being a part of my life.

Dear Joan,
David and I remember you and Ken from when we lived on Carson Street in Auburn for 9 years in the late 1960s and early 1970s. We were sorry to read of Ken's passing which I found when looking for the obituary of another friend who lived in Auburn. May our Father in Heaven give you and your family comfort. We moved to St. George last year after living for 32 years in Salt Lake City.

Remarkable for his tenacity to accomplish the goals he set for himself, blessed with the ability to show kindness to others irrespective of their color, creed, political party, or religion, Ken Westenskow was the kind of man everyone would like to have for a neighbor. Acquainted with him and his family closely in Auburn when I was privileged to be the bishop to him and his family, I can attest to his willingness to accept any assignment and to execute it faithfully and with dignity. So it was with his sweet wife. They were then as they always were models of a commitment to a higher power, and a stellar belief in Christ as their redeemer. My family and I will always have fond memories of Ken and his family. May they feel the comfort that comes from their religious convictions and knowledge of an afterlife as an eternal family.

Dearest Westenskow Family,
I was a math student of Mr. Westenskow, ( Graduate 1971 Roseville High ). His teaching abilities were empowering back when female students were not encouraged to do well in the Natural Sciences. I am sure that my love of doing well in his class, with his encouragement, was what prepared me so well to follow an intense career in systems software. Mr. Westenskow definitly stood out as an excellent teacher! You could tell he loved teaching and held this responsibility with the highest regard. I can remember him being late, when the cows got out, he would show up in cowboy boots, splattered with mud, a smile on his face, and ready to teach with his never wavering upbeat enthusiasm!! Thank you for sharing him with so many of us.
