Passed in Sacramento on February 16, 2010. Beloved husband of Inez Chaney. Loving father of Jazmine, Kevin Jr., Dominique, DeAnthony, Andrea, Gabriel, Azshurdee, Jarell, De'Andre, Argentina, Kijan'e, Julia, Ahmad, DeAsia, Damarea, Fatina, Diallo, Ashley, Julius, and Marlana. Devoted son of Linda Wilson Frazier and Donald Chaney. Loving brother of DeAndre, Donnie, Shawn Troy, Marquis, Willard (D.J.) Damion, Anthony, Dante, Devon, Deonta, Nicko, Fatina, Linda, Ebony, Ashley, Gayenell, (Reggie), Regina Lafeat, grandson of George and Lula Mae Chaney and Ada Wright and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his stepfather Herbert Frazier Jr., brother Shawn J. Chaney and grandparents Charles and Julia Wilson. Friends are welcome for visitation on Thursday, March 4, 2010, from 3 - 7 p.m. Celebration of life on Friday, March 5, 2010, at 1:30 p.m., both at MORGAN JONES CHAPEL OF CHIMES, 4200 Broadway. Interment Private.

Thank you for giving me the best gift I have ever been given. I wish you were here to see all of your daughter's accomplishments. She is in the Navy and very accomplished. She looks like you more and more every day. It is amazing how to this day people that knew you stop her and ask her if she is your daughter just by looking at her. Thank you for always being in her life when you were here. You two had a very special unbreakable bond, and She misses you very much. Your family has been so supportive in your absence. We all love and miss you very much.

Dad i never thought that this day would ever come or even so soon...i remember you usse to always take us to Grama Julias and then to the park where you use to play cards and dominoes, it doesnt seem real that your even gone. My first and best memories of Kevin were at the gym on the hoop court at Sac City College, we used to compete for real.
He was always cool with me and I respected him for that, gone but definitly not forgotten.

I never onced believed we would depart this way. Throughout our ten years of marriage you were a great husband,provider, and father to(all)your children. I remember every weekend we would gather all twenty(at that time) children and take them on outings.Your children were very dear to you.
