Larry G. Fuller

FULLER, Larry G.
Born on December 16, 1941, and passed from this life on June 23, 2008, at the age of 66. Larry was preceded in passing by his father Ernest Leonard Fuller and mother Wilma Willene Fuller and survived by his sister Joyce Lukehart, daughter Sharman, sons Shawn and Shea, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Shortly after graduating from North High School in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1959, Larry moved out to California and delivered groceries for P&M Market for a period before becoming a police officer for the Placerville Police Department. During his time as a police officer Larry began a racing career at the Placerville speedway racing stock cars where he was known as "Little Fuzz". Larry became an apple farmer while he continued to put in time as a police officer until he turned in his badge and became a private investigator. In addition to his private investigation business, Larry started a security business and a vending business which kept him busy and provided a sense of satisfaction for what he was able to accomplish and how he was able to help others. Larry enjoyed a number of events and hobbies which included fishing, motorcycle riding, racing, softball, basketball, football, darts, billiards, and spending time with his family no matter what the circumstances. Larry had a high appreciation for everything he did and experienced in life, he cherished his relationships with all his friends. All those who are fortunate enough to have known and interacted with Larry are grateful that we have had the opportunity to be a part of his life. Larry will be missed by all beyond words but we will hold on to the memories that we have and continue to spread his essence by sharing how he touched us and carrying on the qualities that we admired in him. Services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. in Placerville at Green Valley Church, 3500 Missouri Flat Road, Placerville, CA 95667.
