Larry Lamb Obituary

LAMB, Larry Joe
Larry was born July 12, 1946, in Sulphur, IN. Larry departed this world September 17, 2005, when he went to join our Lord in Mesa, AZ, where he lived and worked as a surveyor. Larry was the oldest of eight children born to Lucy B. and Kenneth Palmer Lamb who reside in Rancho Cordova, CA. Larry leaves to mourn his loss of three sons, Lee (Jill) of Mesa, Eric (Nicole) of Elk Grove, CA, and Michael of Rancho Cordova, CA; his parents Lucy B. and Kenneth Palmer Lamb of Rancho Cordova; brothers Ken of Camino, CA, Robert of Modesto, CA, and Stephen and Donald of Rancho Cordova; sisters Brenda of West Sacramento and Glenda of Ohio; three adorable grandchildren, Morgan, Riley, and Cheyenne. He was preceded in death by a younger brother, Fred. Larry leaves numerous relatives, one great-great-aunt, three great-aunts, four aunts, one uncle, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends to mourn his loss. Larry attended Mills Middle School in Rancho Cordova and on to Folsom High School where he graduated in 1964. Shortly after he joined the U.S. Air Force, serving in Ankra, Turkey, and Germany and ending his time at the Mather Chaplain's Unit. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 2:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church, 2201 Benita Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA. 95670.
