Wow...I wrote a long note and then thru my tears I deleted it instead of saving it. So I will start again...
Even tho Laura lived a long and full life, when I heard the news I just cried and cried. Laura and my mom were best friends for the last 10 years of my mom's life. Laura was already very special in my eyes but her closeness with my mom made her all that much more special to me.
I didn't know about Laura being a soloist but it doesn't surprise me with the wonderful quality of her voice. Whenever she entered a room I could immediately pick out her voice and stop to greet her. And she had such a warm, loving smile on her beautiful face.
To Laura: You are in that wonderful place now, free from all worries and pain. I am sure that Mother and Daddy were there to greet you. I sure hope they didn't push and shove too much to be first in line!! :-)
