Monday morning, children off to school and finally I scurry to the office for another week of life. As I answered my first phone call I looked over to the left of my computer monitor and there it sat, it was a beautiful thank you card from my Nanny. You see she had a card for all occasion. The card read, "Thank you so much for making Saturday a special day". Well, all I would like to say is, "Nanny, I would like to thank you for making me feel special everyday just knowing you were my Nanny".
You know, since I lost my Nanny I feel a little less special. I will truely miss you.

Whoooo-Whoooo,
I don't know what to put as my tears stream down my cheeks here with my sister Leanne. How I will cherish all the travels that we shared together: Hawaii, Mass, NY, Las Vegas, Mexico, Conn, Atlantic City, Oregon, and our last trip to Leanne's house in SF for your birthday. Your strength, stubbornness, kindness, and generosity....words can not describe the magnatude of.... your life. You are deeply missed and your sprit, laughter, love, and warmpth will live on within me...forever.
I love you with all my heart-
your granddaughter-

Sitting here having my morning coffee, I can close my eyes and think of you sitting in your kitchen with your cup of coffee and newspaper. The life lessons and values that I have learned from you give me comfort to know that you will forever live on in our hearts and lives. The last time I spoke with my Nanny was Thursday August 11th when I had a piece of an Angel Food cake that Nanny made. She had covered it with many tiny candied hearts. When I spoke with her she told me that "Every hear means, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU" That will forever ring in my ears. How lucky am I for having such a wonderful, strong, patient, creative, loving woman in my life! I am a blessed granddaughter.
