WATKINS, Leonard Earl
Passed away in Sacramento on February 24, 2006. Beloved husband of Robin A. Watkins, caring father of ShaChima, KaMonte (Emily) and Tadario Watkins, grandfather of Queenell, Isaiah, Elijah, Jeremiah, Ezra, and Jason, loving son ofQueenell Prater Watkins, brother of Sharon, Royal, Kenneth, Kevin Watkins and Alfred Walker (Latrice), and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Viewing on Wednesday, March 1, from 3:00-7:00 PM at MORGAN JONES CHAPEL OP CHIMES, 4200 Broadway. Service at 1:30 PM on Thursday, March 2, at Jubilare Evangelist Ministries, 1505 Sports Drive. Interment Private.

My prayers go out to both the Watkins and the Jones families. Buzzard will be missed by all, but I thank GOD for memories. With memories, he will be with us forever.

I WAS DEEPLY SADDEN TO HEAR ABOUT LEANARD EARL. EVEN THOUGH IT HAD BEEN SOMETIME SINCE I SEEN HIM I FEEL LIKE HE WAS A FRIEND. WE HAD A LOTS OF GOOD TIME AND A LOT OF LAUGHS TOGETHER. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH THE WATKINS FAMILY. REMEMBER GOD IS STILL ON THE THRONE. KEEP YOUR HANDS IN GODS HANDS HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU AND HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Our deepest sympathy and prayers go out to the Watkins/Jones Family. Leonard's sense of humor and fun loving personality will live on in our hearts for years to come. We use to have so many good, fun times together, all of us. He was the best baseball player the A's ever had, and boy could he cook some Gumbo! (Smile)"The Buzzard" version! Pruitt and I will always treasure both families friendships and times spent together, those were the days, not a care in the world, just baseball and babies! Much Love goes out to you all, may his spirit for life live on in our hearts and memories of him forever.
