Lisa Gonzales

1961 - 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lisa Gonzales, on August 3, 2024 just a few days shy of her 63rd birthday. Lisa was born on August 12, 1961 in Woodland, California. She graduated from Sacramento High School in 1979 and moved to San Juan Capistrano, where she attended school at Saddleback College studying Special Education. Lisa returned to Sacramento and worked for several years with the State of California and University of California, Davis. She also worked in the retail industry in Davis and Woodland for over 30 years. She enjoyed bike riding, cooking, eating Mexican food, and spending time with family including her children and grandchildren.

Lisa is the beloved mother to, and survived by, her children Crystal Juelch (Dustin) and Brett Howard. She is also survived by her mother Mary Gonzales, sister Estella Simoneau (James), 5 grandchildren (Dustin Jr, Dakota, Dawna, Danielle, Desirae), 4 great-grandchildren, her 16 year-old side kick dog Max, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins all of whom will miss her dearly. Lisa was preceded in death by her brother, David Gonzales, father Maximiliano Gonzales, and several other elder relatives.

A celebration of life will be held on August 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Real Life Church Natomas, 1921 Arena Blvd, Sacramento.
