Lisa Robertson Obituary

ROBERTSON, Lisa (Minton)
Lisa was born July 23, 1946 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She was a parent, a painter, and in the last decade an award-winning figure skater with her partner, Joey Domondon. Lisa was a great listener and supporter to all of her friends. Lisa lived in Redding, Coloma and Sacramento. She was very adventuresome and loved to fly through the air, even paragliding last year - singing out, "Whee," as she flew over some of her family. Even in the face of serious illness she remained a bright ray of sunshine for everyone. In January Lisa found the strength to take some of her grandchildren skating, continuing to live her dreams. She passed away peacefully on February 9, 2004. She is survived by her sons Aaron Robertson and Tim Nelson; daughter Julie Price Cardinale; many grandchildren; her brother Jonas Minton; her sister-in-law Julie Carrasco Minton; and special friends Michael Silva, Brian Hoff, Terry and Woody Holland. A Mass will be held in her honor 8:00 AM on March 7 at Sacred Heart Church in Sacramento. Later in the Spring there will be a special picnic to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association. Now our little Sunshine is free to, as she would say, "run amok." Lisa will forever be in our hearts and we will always remember her advice, "Live Your Dreams."
