DURHAM, Lucille 'Teel' Ruth
Oct. 21, 1921 - Oct. 23, 2011

Fourth generation Californian from pioneer stock of both parents, born in Stockton, Ca. attended U.O.P. and member of Omega Nu Sorority, Epsilon Lamba Sigma. Member of North Ridge (Sacramento), Sunnyside (Fresno), Woodbridge and Stockton Golf and Country Clubs. Teel was an avid bridge player, and enjoyed golf and the outdoors, particularly the Sierra Nevada Mountains. A voracious reader, she had a keen interest and strong opinions about politics, literature and contemporary events. She and her late husband Charles W. Durham travel trailered throughout the western United States for many years after his retirement. She greatly enjoyed gatherings of her family and her many friends. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lora McIntosh, and her 'little sister' Ruth. She is survived by her two sons, David Durham, Lodi, and Steven Durham of McKinleyville, Ca, his wife Patricia Girczyc and grandchildren, Tibora Girczyc-Blum, and Cornell Girczyc-Blum.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the hospice of your choice. Graveside Services will be held Friday at 10:00 AM at Parkview Cemetery in French Camp. Please go to abcfh.com to leave condolences for the family.
