CERVIN, Manuel
Born March 7, 1921 in Zacan, Michoacan, Mexico; passed away July 10, 2011 in Sacramento, CA at the age of 90. Beloved husband of 57 years to Gloria Cervin. Greatly missed by children, Laura Johnson, Cristina Cervin, Denise Cervin-Swesey, Manuel Cervin and Xavier Cervin of Sacramento CA. Forever remembered by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Also survived by 2 sisters Denise Cervin and Paz Le Beau; 1 brother Ladislao Cervin. Preceded in death by mother and father, Laura and Pedro Cervin, brothers Antonio and Salvador Cervin. He retired after 35 years Granite Construction Co. and a member of Labors local 185. He will be forever loved and missed by those who knew him. A viewing will be held Monday, July 18th from 4-8pm at Andrews & Greilich Mortuary, 3939 Fruitridge Rd., Sacramento CA 95820. Mass will be on Tuesday, July 19th at 10am at the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1909 7th St., Sacramento, CA 95811. Funeral procession to follow to St. Mary's Cemetery.

Well joe you will be missed by many who had the pleasure of knowing you. It was an honor for me to grow up with you in my family. God took one heck of man as jackie gleason use to say your the greatest. You left me with so many positive memories I will never forget and your positive attitude when I was really down and out was wonderful to have because with you nothing was impossible. I send to all of the Cervins my deepest condolences but I´m sure he´s partying withe my mom and dad. Salud Joe until we are all together but hopefully not too soon. Gloria I love you and always here for you. And Cervin kids please take super care of your mother....

Mama Gloria, my adopted sisters and brothers, I am saddened to hear about "dad". Dad was a joy and made my family feel so welcomed in the family whenever we came around. He had such a great sense of humor and loved laughter. Our prayers are with the family during this time.

Aunt Gloria and Family,

My heart goes out to you all at this sad and difficult time in your lives. I only knew Uncle Manuel from all the wonderful things and stories that Arthur told me about him, and all the beautiful ways Aunt Gloria talks about him.

Just remember the following:

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, for as long as there is memory, they'll live on in the heart.
