Marc Reichenberger Obituary
April 20, 1938 - January 12, 2022
Sacramento, California - Marc Reichenberger gently left this Earth on January 12th, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was gifted to the world on April 20th, 1938, in Andale, Kansas. In 1962, while in Yuma, Arizona, Marc met his bride, Elva. They moved to Sacramento in 1963. Marc was undoubtedly "The Most Popular Man in Sacramento" – especially during the Jazz Festival, where he serviced the soda fountains for 7-UP Bottling Company. He spent 32 years working for 7-UP, servicing nearly every bar, restaurant, and vending machine in town – making friends at every stop. There will be a Celebration of Life, on May 21st, in Orangevale. If you are interested in attending, please email "him" at [email protected]. Marc is preceded in death by his wife, Elva; father, Timothy Victor, mother, Violet; and his older siblings, Robert, Tim, and Dorothy. He is left in the memory of his son Patrick, and daughter Lisa Messer (Rick); his grandchildren, Marc, Melissa, Cameron, and Niki; his younger siblings Gary, John, and Daniel; and many nieces and nephews. In his memory, do as he would - enjoy a piece of candy and tell someone a joke. He was a good man.

So sad to just hear of Marks passing . My deepest condolences to the family . I was good friends w/Lisa and loved being over at their house in my teen years . Mark would always greet me with the friendliest of welcomes & a good sometimes goofy joke . Mark was a fine example of a Father and a Man . On numerous occasions lisa and I have talked about the special bond they shared as daughter and father, they shared a mutual love and respect. Lisa adored her father and she knew what a gem he was . Mark may be gone but he´s hardly forgotten . The day Mark went to Heaven is the day the Earth truly lost a true example of what a real man is who loved his family and one of the best Daddy´s known . Anyone who knew him could attest to this . Rip Lisa´s Daddy ! We love you .
