Margaret DeGusta Obituary

Born: 11/23/1915 Died: 6/10/2016 Age: 100 years, 6 months Margaret was born in Maxwell, Nebraska in 1915 and moved to Sacramento in 1921. She graduated from Sacramento High School in June, 1933. She resided in Oak Park for 35 years and South Sacramento the remaining years. She was married to Dominick DeGusta in 1935. They were married for 56 years until his death in 1991. She has four sons: Daniel (deceased), Stephen, Kenneth, and Peter. She has two grandsons: David (Linda) and Michael (Sally) and a very special daughter in law, Martha. She was a kind and gracious person and was able to remain so while raising four rambunctious sons. At 100+ years of age she was still the same caring person. She continued to have fun playing games with her grown grandsons even when the games said for ages "3 to 90." Her longevity was undoubtedly due to her kindness and to being so young at heart. She certainly was the youngest of us all. Having her for 100 years was a special gift. Mom, we love you and we will see you in the sweet bye and bye.
