Brother,
It's been almost a year since you pasted and it seems like yesterday. I will never forget the day the doctor told me how sick you were. I had to go tell Mom. I told her just in time cuz hours later they called and said you were already in ICU. We all were there and I know you felt are presents because when I stood there holding your hand you moved your fingers. Has I stood there holding your hand I was talking and talking to you, tears came out of your eyes. Me and Delia here wiping your face and holding you down. Your body was shaking, it was like you were trying to wake up and tell us all goodbye. Delia helped us through it all, I thank her very much! So many of your friends showed up. It was like a Cinco reunion. I know your in a better place but we miss you so much! Like the saying gos you never know how much you miss someone until there gone. So everyone who reads this don't forget to tell the ones you love. I love you every chance you get because you never know whats going to happen tommorow. B-Nard and Nuk still talk about you. Nuk wants to know when your coming home from heaven. B-nard always tells Richi remember Uncle Mario use to always tell you VATO LOCOS FOREVER! Then we all play around and say it like you use to. We took your ashes to the ocean and let almost all of you free. The spot we released your ashes in was so beautiful. Pretty girl in bikinis will lye on you. Mom has the rest of your ashes and lights candles by them all the time. When your Compa. Henry pasted it brought back so pain. His funeral was very nice and they talked about you there. I know you two are together and also with Dad. I hope there playing music together. Tell Dad I miss are phone calls. I use to ask him so many questions like if I was the FBI. We miss and love you both very much, you will always be in are hearts!
LOTS & LOTS of LOVE, HUGGS & KISSES!!!                        Your Sister Susie!!!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To the family of Mario, I am so sorry for your loss. We as parents should not have to bury our children but sometimes that does not turn out that way. I do know how you feel i lost both my parents and the grieving never stops. Please let me know if I can do something for your family. Thank you and God bless and you know that he is in a better place than us. Much love and respect.. Patty Cervantes

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

To Mario's family, I send my love and heartfelt condolences. So many fond memories come to mind like the fun times we had during our summertime stayovers at Seavey Circle in Sacramento. I recently came across an inscription that gave me great comfort, "Only time moves on to the next scene. Memory remains part of the heart forever". Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
