Mark Lee BACHMAN

1962 - 2017

Mark Lee Bachman passed peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the age of 54. Born July 16, 1962, in Marysville, Mark spent his early years in Live Oak and moved to Woodland when he was 11 years old. He graduated from Woodland High School. Mark started his career at Johnson Farm Machinery, then worked as a shop mechanic at Circle G Ranch, before opening his own business-- Bachman's Custom Cycles. His latest employment was as a distributor for Lucas Oil Company. He loved this job as it gave him the opportunity to travel. Mark's life centered around family and friends; mechanics and design; and daring adventures. His adventures included motorcycle racing, destruction derbies, truck shows (his 1958 Chevy Stepside), bungee jumping, and building Harleys. Mark was awarded many trophies! To quote a close relative, "Mark led a full life!" He is survived by two daughters, Courtney Robinson and Nicole Bachman; beautiful grand-daughter Scarlett; mother Doris Bachman; and siblings Debbie, Michael, Matthew, Pamela Bachman, and Patricia Welty. His mechanical mentor and father, Leo Bachman passed July 25, 2012. A private service for family will be held. Mark will reside at Live Oak Cemetery in Live Oak.
