Mary Ehmann Obituary
December 4, 1925 - April 17, 2025
Folsom, California - Mary (Jean) Ehmann of Folsom California, went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2025 at the age of 99. She was born on December 4, 1925 in St. Mary's, Ohio. Jean is survived by daughter Lynda Parker of Alexandria VA, daughter Patricia Brecht of El Dorado Hills CA, Son Charles Ehmann III (Sharon) of Auburn CA, daughter Sharon MacLean (Bruce) of Carmichael CA, 10 Grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband Charles A Ehmann Jr, her parents W. B. and Mary Noble and brother James Noble.
Jean as she was known by, was a long time resident of the Sacramento area where she was first and foremost a wife, mother and a homemaker. For many years Jean volunteered for the Children's Home Society, the Sutter Hospital Auxiliary, and the Sacramento Camellia festival. Jean attended her husbands Kiwanis clubs annual Art Fiesta and Crab Feed.
Jean was active with the Bank of America retirees group where she met long time companion Merle Whitten and his children Sue, David, Patrick and Annie.
Jean was very handy with knitting needles and through the years knitted Christmas Stockings for family members, prayer shawls for local churches and baby blankets for local charities. She enjoyed numerous hobbies including crafting, gardening, poker and watching birds on her patio.
She was interned with her late husband in a private ceremony on May 26, 2025.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 11 a.m., July 26, at Carmichael Presbyterian Church, 5645 Marconi Ave Carmichael, CA.
