Michael McGlamery Obituary
McGLAMERY, Michael J.
Born June 1, 1985, passed away Feb. 1, 2009 at age 23 after a sudden illness. Michael was the beloved son of Lauren McGlamery Ritchey and Jim McGlamery; brother of Megan McGlamery; stepson of Jim Ritchey; stepbrother of Ian and Rachael Ritchey; grandson of Polly McGlamery and Dave and Marcy Thomas. He was a student at the Ralph Richardson Center in Carmichael and most recently attended Orange Grove Adult School in Sacramento. Michael loved music, movies, and time spent with his family. He was a sweet and gentle young man who was loved by many and will be missed. Memorial service for Michael will be Thursday, Feb. 5 4pm at Lind Brothers Mortuary, 4221 Manzanita Ave., Carmichael, CA

Michael was such an important part of your lives. realize how he felt your tremendous love and support throughout his life.
It is difficult to find the right words, comprehend the 'whys' and 'what ifs' when we lose a dear one but may friends who care - bring you comfort and strength.

Michael is now in the arms of our Lord. He came into this world as an innocent and beautiful child, and he left this world as such.
Jim and Lauren were Michael's chosen parents. God knew that only special/unique individuals could take on this high order, and would have to be bestowed with rare qualities. Michael experienced much love and protection from his parents. They were strong advocates for all of his special needs. Michael was very lucky, in many ways, to have been given these special guardians on earth to provide for all of his physical and psychological needs.
Michael's stay on this earth was ephemeral, but he taught us so much.
Michael is now without any physical limitations. He is an Angel who will now protect and bring comfort to his loving parents. He is now complete.
RIP little angel and remember that you will never be forgotten and you will always be loved! You have physically left us, but your spirit will live on forever within each and everyone of us who were lucky to have met and loved you.
We love you Michael!
