Michael Sharpe Obituary
April 26, 1947 - February 21, 2022
Pollock Pines, California - Michael Dean Sharpe (Mike) passed away of natural causes on February 21, 2022 at his home in Pollack Pines, California.
He is preceded in death by his mother Viola Margaret (Peggy) Hall, father Irwin (Blackie) Sharpe, his brothers Wallace and Charles, and his sister Linda. He is survived by his wife Marla and his three sons, Michael of Winnemucca, NV, James of Leander, TX and Eric of Pipe Creek, TX and his uncle David Hall of Astoria, OR.
Mike attended Brethren Elementary School in Whittier, CA and he graduated from Whittier Christian High School.
He also attended Rio Linda Jr College until he was drafted into the army in 1967, where he was stationed in Munich, Germany.
After his discharge, he worked as the Manager of Cy's Paint and Hardware in Whittier.
In 1971, he relocated to Sacramento where he started his career in the door business, later opening his own successful door business- Accent Door in Fair Oaks/Rancho Cordova CA, until his retirement.
Some of his hobbies were collecting cars and unwanted dogs, and he was one of the best at playing blackjack. His friends and family will always remember his quick wit and his kind heart. He will be dearly missed.

I knew Mike in high school, WCHS. I graduated in 1964, but didn't know him that well. My mother, Martha Crandall, lived in an assisted living place in Fair Oaks for a while. She's gone now, but having visited her there countless times, I knew Fair Oaks was a great little town.

I went to school with Mikes stepson Rodney, I meet Mike (pops) and the rest of his wonderful family through Rod. Mike gave me my first job at Accent door in 1984.
I soon ended up living with Mike and family for years there after. Mike and Melinda treated me like one of there own, and in many ways Mike gave me the fatherly support needed by a young man. I will always consider them all family. I will never forget Mike and I will always Love You for everything you did for me.
Rest in Piece brother, I will never forget you and will always love you for everything you did for me.
