Michael SWEET Obituary
SWEET, Michael Kevin
Michael came into this world on January 4, 1969 and moved on to Heaven on June 16, 2013. A loving son to Richard 'Dick' and Virginia 'Ginny' Sweet of Roseville, CA. and engaged to his beautiful fiancee, April Richards of Carmichael, CA. During his short time on earth, Michael was father of Amber Sweet and Ty Holm, both of whom reside in Florida. He will also be missed by his surviving grandmother, Almeda Harker currently living in Ohio, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends scattered across America.
Michael was born in Long Beach, CA, resided briefly in Portland, OR and spent the majority of his youth in the Bay Area. After a brief sojourn to Denver, he settled in the Sacramento area, found employment at COSTCO and ultimately met the love of his life, April Richards.
His interests were varied, but he was a loyal 49er fan, a staunch Giants follower and a Boston Celtics devotee. He was a passionate and skilled pool player and was hoping and striving to become comparably proficient at the sport of golf.
Generous in death as he was in life, Michael's spirit will live on in the recipients of organs, tissue, etc. he donated at the time of his death.
A Memorial gathering to share memories of Michael's time on earth will be held at a future time and location which will be shared with his many friends and family members.
