Was researching to locate Mickie and was so deeply saddened to find her obituary. I worked with her at the Franchise Tax Board many years ago and what a wonderful person and mentor she was. RIP Mickie....You are missed.

I wish I had heard about this sooner. I met Mickie in 1982 or so. She was working in her brother Ross' store then and soon after I was employed there as well. Mickie and Ross became great friends to me. I loved them both dearly. Mickie and I crossed paths years later at FTB. She always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. I will always cherish the moments we shared and I wish I had been able to be there to pay my last respects and to tell Mickie how much she meant to me. My heart truly, truly goes out to her family. Dear, sweet Mickie, may you rest in peace. Until we meet again. I love you Mick.

Even though we didn't stay in touch as adults, I have fond memories of our childhood. Staying at Noni's house and sleepovers at Meg's. I am so sorry that we didn't get to reconnect. My condolences to your family. May they find peace in that you are no longer suffering. Your cousin, Phylllis
