Mildred McCormick Obituary

McCORMICK, MILDRED MAE
Oct 8, 1921-Mar 31, 2002. Born outside of Portales, New Mexico; raised in Texas and California; active in nursing for over 50 years, including 25 years in Sacramento, retiring at the age of 73. Loved by many family and friends, she will be missed. Mildred has joined our Heavenly Father and those that preceded her: beloved parents John Morgan and Vera Bell Oliver; special husbands Doyle Marshall and Earl McCormick; wonderful sisters Sally, Johnnie, Cora, Leta, and Mary Alice; and her dearly loved only grandson, Johnny Hawkins, who left us just 8 months ago. She leaves many loved ones: her baby sister Nadene (James) Durkin; brothers-in-law Jerry and Johnny (Florence) Marshall; daughters Donna Cranston and Devlyn (Tom) Hawkins; granddaughters Jenn (Debra) Garrison, Adrienne (Tom) Reault, Tommie, Becky, and Sarah Hawkins, Dana Hawkins (Johnny's widow); and five darling great-grandsons: Zack, Tommy, Gus, Nate, and Patrick. Her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends shared in her love. Remembrances may be sent to Loaves and Fishes, P.O. Box 2161, Sacramento, CA 95812. All are welcome to attend Visitation on Friday, April 5, 2002 from 10AM-8PM and Services on Saturday, April 6, 2002 at 2PM at SOUTH EAST LAWN MEMORIAL PARK AND MORTUARY, 9189 East Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, CA (916) 732-2031.
