My mother, Virginia Wyche Moore and Minnie Ray "Mitzi" were roommates at Fisk University. She and my mother would time their visits to Durham, NC, where Minnie's daughter Jocelyn used to live, and where I live creating special memories. Remembering Mitzi and her loved ones today and always.

Mrs. Hunter was a wonderful family friend. My mother adored her and their sorority events were some of my earliest and most fond memories. I was happy to see her in past years and it always warmed my heart to spend time with her and her beloved Sorors of AKA. Heartfelt condolences to the Hunters and please know that the community has truly lost an angel.

Keeping the Family in our thoughts and prayers. Have beautiful memories of my mom (Emma Lee Phoenix) and Mrs. Hunter always very active in our sorority. Making an impact on the community and mentoring so many. I know many will contribute to the scholarship to support her legacy. Mrs. Hunter was an elegant, beautiful lady with a quiet strength and a smile that lit up a room. Deepest Sympathy. Love, Alfreda Phoenix Belton
